Job Description
- Design and develop electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, grounding, and control systems, considering client requirements, industry standards, and applicable codes and regulations.
- Create electrical engineering designs, schematics, and construction drawings using computer-aided design (CAD) software and other relevant tools.
- Perform electrical load calculations, fault current calculations, and voltage drop analysis to determine system requirements and ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals to integrate electrical systems into overall project designs.
- Specify and select electrical equipment, devices, and materials based on project specifications and technical requirements.
- Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, and cost estimates for electrical engineering projects.
- Conduct site visits, inspections, and surveys to assess existing electrical systems and identify potential improvement opportunities.
- Participate in project meetings, communicate with clients, and provide technical support and guidance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure compliance with relevant safety standards, codes, and regulations in all electrical engineering activities.
- Stay updated with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in electrical engineering, and apply them to enhance project outcomes.
