Job Description

Roles and responsibilities:-

● Thoroughly identifying, recording, and tracking bugs, defects, and non-conformities.
● Performing thorough regression testing when the bugs/defects are resolved.
● Investigating the cause of non-conformities.
● Conduct rigorous manual and automation testing as per the test plan.
● Tracking the quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts.
● Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.
● Designing and executing automation scripts using open-source tools like
Selenium
● Staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies.
● Executing test cases as per software requirement specification
● Analyzing test results with impacts, errors or bugs, and usability.
● Preparing reports on all aspects related to the software testing carried out and reporting to the project team.
● Interacting with team members to understand product requirements.
● Participating in design reviews and providing input on requirements, product design, and potential problems.
● Excellent communication and critical thinking skills.
● Good organizational skills and detail-oriented mindset.
